Relevant Tribute- In Memory of The Oldenburg Dressage Stallion
Lisa Wilcox announced the passing of her extra special Grand Prix partner the oldenburg dressage stallion Relevant. With a successful career and an amazing partnership I decided to put together a little tribute to celebrate their incredible past.

Relevant gained an outstanding reputation under Lisa Wilcox at international dressage shows, winning Grand Prix freestyle in series with scores up to 79%. With Lisa Wilcox the pair achieved team silver and 5th place individual at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez. They won the German Masters in Stuttgart. Relevant is the world’s best dressage stallion according to BCM World Breeding Ranking. In 2001 they again won the VTV Dressage Stallion award. Their best performances were in a Grand Prix in Oldenburg with 78.20%, 77.84% in a Grand Prix Special in Stuttgart and 82.65% in the Grand Prix in Jerez. They are in third place on the FEI’s world ranking list for dressage. At shows in Germany they won € 41,936.00, increasing Relevant’s life time prize money to a total of € 93,372.00. His first crop produced highly interesting foals. IWinner of the 2002 German Masters in Stuttgart. World best dressage stallion according to BCM World Breeding Ranking. 82.65% in the Grand Prix free-style at the World Championships in Jerez. In 2003 Relevant was 2nd place at the CHIO in Aachen in the CDIO final results. Relevant returned from the 2003 open European Championships in Hickstead with the silver medal.
