This is how legends are made! I caught a few seconds of Juan Matute playing with the piaffe work in his warm up. He is doing the piaffe entirely on the snaffle rein! While this shouldn’t be exciting, we watch the majority of riders going around the warm up with the curb rein vertical to the ground. So this level of lightness is a true treasure to see in the warm up! Juan Matute is a legend in the making as we watch this future star ride with lightness that we can all aspire too!
