Robert Dover: The whip is an Extreme Aid
How many times have you thoughtlessly tapped your horse with a whip an not gotten a response? Yeah that is what I thought. In this video US Olympic Team coach Robert Dover talks about how to use the whip effectively when riding dressage. Riding mindfully will resort in a dressage horse that is much lighter off the aids than if you consistently repeat your mistakes.
