Contract Murder, Horses and a Lawsuit in Wellington, Florida
The mainstream media in Wellington, tends to show Wellington, Florida as the shiny happy place where everything is magical, you know, like Disney for horses. Luckily for my fans I am willing to do a little digging when hot topics pop up just to make sure we are getting the truth about what really happens behind the scenes of the circus here in Wellington, Florida.

This week, Ken Braddick over at Dressage News posted an article about a lawsuit filed toward dressage rider Caroline Roffman and Show jumperBen Meredith by a Ruth A Green. So I decided to do a little digging as to who this person is, just for my own curiosity. In doing so I stumbled upon one of the greatest stories in the history of Wellington.

What I discovered is that the woman who filed the lawsuit, Ruth A Green is also know as Ruthann Aron Green and has been convicted of solicitation to commit murder, in other words she tried to hire a hit man to kill her husband and two other lawyers she did not like. She was also charged with attempted murder for drugging her husband, however later those charges were dropped.

While this maintains to be the biggest scandal in her long history of lawsuits and drama there are plenty of allegations of fraud and breech of contract issues to be found.

So get out your popcorn because regardless of what happens next, when a convicted felon that makes front page news in Washington DC lands her own scandal in Wellington, Florida it is bound to be and exciting story to keep a close eye on!
