She’s Back!
Charlotte Dujardin is back in action! Much to our delight, she has a new ride! Yay! Grab your inner fangirl and get ready for
Charlotte Dujardin awesomeness riding Gio in the Grand Prix! Last year Charlotte Dujardin and Geo a 10-year-old (Apache x Tango) gelding made their Grand Prix dressage debut. Thanks to covid-19 though there have not been any horse shows leaving those of us in the cheap seats waiting for the next big thing from Charlotte Dujardin.
Today they scored at 77.8% in the Grand Prix for the win. We are on the edge of our seats here at Dressage Hub. We can’t wait to see more of Charlotte Dujardin and Gio!
Charlotte’s Secret Weapon
Gio has been dubbed as Dujardin’s secret weapon for the Tokyo Olympics. Rumour has it that she could potentially go for an “Isabell Werth strategy”, i.e. keep one superstar for the World Cup circuit (Weihegold – Mount St. John Freestyle) and ride the other at the Olympics (Bella Rose – Gio). However, it will only be logical that the best scoring and most fit horse will end up going to Tokyo. Want to compare the two?
