Totilas passed away in December 2020 but his legacy lives on. More and more of them are showing up to compete at the grand prix. Totilas won that hearts of the dressage fans everywhere.
It makes sense that riders and breeders alike want a piece of the story that makes Totilas a legend. The name Totilas will spark emotions of all sorts around the horse world but one thing is for sure, everyone is waiting for the next page in the Totilas story. This weekend in Belgium at the CDI 3* we saw four Totilas offspring take centerline. Total US and Toto Jr ridden by Edward Gal, Adelinde Cornelissen and Governer SRT and Go Legend ridden by Maria Vom Baalen.
Each Totilas baby has a unique style and look of their own but share the stamp of the jet black coat and the unconventional movement that made Totilas a dressage legend.
As we watch and wait for more Totilas progeny to make it to the top one thing is for certain, Black is the new Gold!
