How do you know your horse is warmed up? With Jaimey Irwin
Many riders tend to warm up for a certain period of time, but is that long enough? Perhaps you could be warming up for a shorter period of time? In this video Jaimey Irwin talks about how you know that your horse is warmed up enough to start the collected work. A small detail that is often over looked when riding and training on your own.
Jaimey’s system of training comes directly from the German legends of classical dressage. Both trained in Germany with Holger Münstermann, the well-known World Cup competitor, who himself trained with the highly respected masters: Reiner Klimke, Willi Schultheis, and Harry Boldt.
Jaimey continues to work with Holger, who flies into Canada and Florida to train the Irwin family. At the same time, they are passing their knowledge and experience on to their own students, who are achieving top results both in the show ring and in achieving their personal goals.
