A First Time For Everything

There is a first time for everything and today happens to be my lucky day! I am mostly thrilled because I watched a dressage judge actually do what is correct and ethical instead of doing what the horse show sponsors and managers want. Granted, this may have been a different story if a sponsor was riding down centerline but nonetheless, I remain optimistic and hopeful that there are judges left that have not been completely corrupted by the broken system.

I digress, today we watch a Grand Prix Dressage rider begin the test and get rung out. While we are left on the sidelines wondering what happened we actually get to see the judge check the horse and interact with the rider when it happens. Since this is extremely rare, I made the decision to share it with you so you can see how it all goes down.
