What To Do If You Are Being Bullied In the Equestrian World
Bullying is rapidly on the rise in the land of equestrian sport, so much so that ironically when people try to stand up against bullying they become bullies themselves. Therein lies the wonder of the internet and how to police what is the new age wild wild west.
In the past week the topic of bullying has risen to the top of the both the headlines and the comments section on Dressage Hub, so in light of the response to many enraged dressage diva’s I decided to put together a video on how to go about voicing your opinion on bullying and taking action in a thoughtful and effective manner.

I spoke with Teresa Roper from United States Equestrian Federation last week. You can contact her directly to report any bullying that is happening to you (in any discipline governed by USEF) or bullying that you see happening to someone else. There is a formal complaint form if you prefer to remain anonymous but it does not need to be filled out if you prefer to contact her directly.

Reporting Misconduct to Local Authorities
Contact your local authorities if you have a reasonable suspicion that child sexual abuse or neglect has occurred.
